Birds are aflutter in this calm and welcoming grey nursery created by photographer mum Shannon for her son Eli. You can see Shannon put a lot of thought into every little details of this contemporary grey nursery. Shannon describes the colour as grey but in the differing lights of the photos it can look blue also. That’s what I love about grey, depending on the shade of grey you can get lilacs or blues in the ever changing light of a room in the daytime. There are wonderful handmade elements in the room such as the origami bird mobile and wall decorations as well as beautiful white branch hung over the cot. Of course with Shannon being a talented photographer it comes as no surprise that the lovely photo canvases of Eli are taken by her too.
Tell us about your bird themed grey nursery, Shannon?
I am a fashion and wedding photographer, but since my son’s birth last October, I’ve become obsessed with him. As it should be! I have never created a space before that I loved as much as his room. I would love others to see it since I made the space work in tight quarters. Our “laundry-room” is in the closet. Some items in the nursery I made myself but most were pretty inexpensive.
Do you have a beautiful nursery you want to share with us? Then don’t hesitate to get in touch!
